For over 30 years, this beloved event has drawn fishermen, boat builders, and race fans from near and far, all eager to soak up the beauty of our coastal venue and enjoy a day of family-friendly fun.
The Pamela B will depart from the Freeport Town Wharf at 9:30 am, returning by 2:00 PM. Free shuttle from downtown Freeport begins at 9:00 am at the Freeport Amtrak Station on Depot St.

Please note that Seacoast Tours has a beer and wine license, so BYOB is not allowed. But don’t worry, we’ll provide complimentary water onboard as well as an assortment of Maine craft Beer and chilled wine plus ginger ale, and seltzer water are available for purchase onboard.
Race Classes: With a total of 33 races, there’s something for everyone, from non-working boats to Novi Boats to the fastest lobster boat in the fleet.
But it’s not just about the thrill of the races. By joining us, you’re also giving back to our community because Seacoast Tours is a race sponsor. 100% of the proceeds from the Harpswell Lobster Boat Races are donated to local causes. In 2023, thanks to incredible sponsors and supporters, the race committee was able to donate $20,000 to the Harpswell Santa Fund, spreading joy and support to families in need.
